Privacy and data
What we publish
Building permits are public records that the cities publish. We show what they publish about the work: the site address, permit type, project value, description, issue date and, where the city lists them, the contractor and the applicant’s business. We do not show applicants who are private individuals, we do not store applicants’ or owners’ home or mailing addresses, and we never look up homeowners or add phone numbers or emails to a permit.

Accounts
For a trade account we keep your name, business, trade, email, an optional phone number, your filters and the status you give to permits. We email you the weekly digest only if you asked for it, and every digest has a one-click unsubscribe. Write to hello@kfardo.com to close your account and delete your data.
Postcard opt-out
Businesses may one day send a postcard addressed to “Current Resident” at an address with a new permit. No names are ever used. If you don’t want any postcards from Permit Leads at your address, tell us here; it applies to every business, forever.
